THE PERFECT MATCH: RECIPE OF VEGGIE LOADED SOYABEAN FAJITAS

Ingredients

For Soyabean dough

  • 1/4 cup Omay Foods Solid Soyabean 
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt

For Fajita Filling

  • 200 gram cottage cheese/ paneer
  • 1 pc green, red, yellow bell pepper each
  • olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp ranch dressing
  • chopped coriander

Instructions

For Soyabean dough

  • Grind the Omay Foods Solid Soyabean in the mixer grinder and make it into a flour.
  • Mix the Soyabean flour, whole wheat flour and salt in a large mixing bowl
  • Add oil and water (for kneading) and knead it into a ball and let it rest for about 20 minutes before using
  • Roll out the dough and make around 7" round flatbreads by cooking on medium flame. Keep them aside for later.

For Fajita Filling

  • Heat up the oil in a pan, and when it gets hot add all the chopped bell peppers. Saute for a minute.
  • Add the cottage cheese to the pan followed by pepper and salt as per taste.

Assembling the fajitas

  • Apply ranch dressing on the flatbreads and top it with the filling
  • Squeeze a lemon and sprinkle some freshly chopped coriander and serve.
