Start healthy snacking habits young

Isn’t it fascinating to see how quickly children grow up? Before we know, they start walking, they start talking. They surprise us every day with the little things they do or they say. You never really know what they’re going to do next. They learn new things and let their knowledge reflect in their actions or speech. 

No matter how hard you try, it gets difficult to keep all their actions in control. Even if you try to feed them with healthy food, their taste buds are drawn towards unhealthy junk and fried food (of course it tastes better but it’s hurting us bad).

You know why? Because maybe they don’t know yet that healthy food tastes good too. Their subconscious and conscious are strong enough to grasp everything that’s going around them. Here’s how you can create a healthy, nourishing environment at home. 

Here are the four things kids do that enable you to teach them healthy eating habits at an early age:

1. Listen

Kids are super energetic. They are either playing non-stop or giving a cute dose of non-stop chatter to us. Their body, hence, constantly asks them for a source of energy. They LISTEN to their bodies and their cravings. Therefore, they’re always up for one more round of snacks. Also, at this young age, they’re quite obedient, so they LISTEN to you. Help them have a healthy diet and tell them what’s beneficial to them in the long run. 

2. Learn

A kid’s grasping power is much higher in the younger days. It’s a good opportunity to teach them healthy eating habits. Just as regular as completion of homework, if their body gets used to the consistent supply of healthy food, they’ll LEARN to eat healthy.

3. Imitate

Of all the things in the world, kids learn most things through imitation. They imitate how you talk and how you behave. They want to grow up quickly, but they can’t. Hence, they try to imitate you and end up looking like a mini version of you. If you follow a healthy routine and a healthy diet, they will too. All that you want to inculcate in them, do it yourself when they’re around. Let them see you, imitate you, and eventually learn how to stay healthy.

4. Binge

Oh! Who can stop their young ones from bingeing especially when they come to you with an innocent, cute, puppy face asking for snacks (again and again)?


This children’s day, why to say NO to their cravings? You can instead say YES and treat them with a healthy binge for their all-day munching routine. Gift them nutritious snacks that are mouthwatering and irresistible.
