Breakfast, lunch and dinner, make up our daily intake of food. However, there is a 4th kind of meal that most of us cannot say no to – snacks! Be it a midday snack, an evening snack or even a late-night snack all of us have been there and done that. Now, while snacking by its own isn’t an issue, it is what we snack on that can tip the scales of a healthy diet, our workouts, and diet plans.
You hustle to reach office in time, and just before locking your apartment you realize, you missed picking up your snack-time munchies – your salad bowl, fruit or your biscuits/chips. While you pack your lunch or are lucky to work at a place that takes care of your meals, you still struggle to pick up snacks to satiate your evening hunger strike EVERYDAY!

I had been in a similar spot just like you before setting up Omay Foods. I have witnessed colleagues who’d bring in tomatoes, apples, cucumbers and what not – chop them in the evening office hours and then get back to work. But how often does your work schedule allow you to do this?
With this quest, Omay was born. I too felt that need to have some portable healthy snacks that we could consume anytime during the day and carry easily wherever we go – office, weekend trip or just simply shopping.

c. Healthy, how? We use the unpopular cooking process of roasting, wherein food is dry cooked in rock salt at high temperature, and nowhere oil, butter, cheese or anything else is used. Plus, we focus strongly on seasonings – working with rare ayurvedic herbs like nutmeg, mace, cinnamon, asafoetida etc. which are known to be home to medicinal benefits, and are very rare to the mass packaged food industry.
In short, you can expect a crisp, oil-free, sugar-free, flavorful snack that anyone can consume anywhere, any time of the day.
